Movement, Connection, and Intention.
Guiding our journey
Hi, I’m Hannah — founder of Social Steps and someone who’s moved cities chasing growth, purpose, and a sense of home. I find so much joy in the little things - morning movement, a warm cup of matcha, a walk with a good podcast, and curling up with my journal at the end of the day.
But I also know that building a more intentional life - one rooted in wellness, growth, and alignment - can feel isolating when you’re doing it alone. It feels like you’re doing all the right things, but have no one to share it with.
With every new move, I kept coming back to the same question: Where do you meet women who care about habits, health, self-awareness, and personal growth? Eventually, I realized I probably wasn’t the only one asking that question. So I stopped wondering — and took the first step.
The steps to our story
What started as a simple Instagram post — inviting anyone to join me for a casual walk — quickly turned into something more. Week by week, women showed up looking for the same thing I was: connection, conversation, and feel-good movement in the middle of their busy lives.
That one walk became two, then ten, then a growing community of women walking and growing together. I wasn’t alone — I had just been the first one to say it out loud.
Today, Social Steps is more than a walking group. It’s a supportive space for women who care about intentional living - in their habits, their health, and their relationships. It’s for the women building lives with more purpose and presence - and finding joy along the way!
Why We Walk
Connection, Made Easy
Creating meaningful friendships as an adult can be hard - especially when you are focused on growth and routines. Our walks bring aligned women together to make connection more natural.
Feel-Good Movement
If you’re truly focused on your growth, your mental and physical health should be a non-negotiable - and walking is one of the simplest ways to support both. It can fit into any kind of lifestyle.
Intentional Time for You
Everyone has busy lives and a million things going on, but carving time out for yourself to move and connect with others allow you to show up better in all other areas of your life.
